Reverse Transfer

If you are a transfer student from a two-year institution, credits earned at The University of Arizona can be transferred back to the two-year institution for evaluation and, if applicable, can be used to confer an associate degree.

The University of Arizona submits enrollment information to the National Student Clearinghouse at the end of the fall and spring terms for currently enrolled students. Qualifying students must have at least 12 transfer units accepted from a two-year institution, and have earned at least one unit at The University of Arizona.

NOTE:  In order to receive a transcript at no cost for reverse transfer purposes, students must have at least 12 transfer units accepted from a two-year institution, and have earned at least one unit at The University of Arizona.

By taking courses at The University of Arizona, you may have already earned enough credits, coupled with your two-year institution credits, to obtain an associate degree through reverse transfer. This is a credential that you have earned, and may provide you additional opportunities as you seek to complete your bachelor's degree.
