Expand Your Education with Summer Session
Enrolling in summer session classes allows you to accelerate progress towards a degree, catch up on courses, focus on more difficult classes, or lighten credit loads during the academic year. The majority of summer classes are accelerated, which means you can earn your credit hours in less time.
Arizona resident students who are home for the summer can take classes at the University of Arizona and then transfer the credits to their institution. (Always check with your college or university for their rules on transfer credits.)
All students pay the Arizona resident rate per credit. Look to the Schedule of Classes and use your Shopping Cart to plan your schedule, and review the credit limit for summer sessions. If you still have questions, work with your academic advisor or graduate program to see how summer session fits into your plan for academic success.
Current Students
Students currently enrolled at the University of Arizona during the prior spring or fall semester, as graduate or undergraduate, degree or non-degree seeking student, do not need to apply to the following summer or winter session, and are already eligible for registration. Look to the Schedule of Classes and use your Shopping Cart to plan your schedule.
