Identifying repeated courses on the student record
What is "repeat checking"?
To ensure student enrollment in repeated courses follows university policy, a UAccess process called “repeat checking” runs to find matching pairs of course IDs or courses designated as equivalent in the course catalog. When the process finds a matching pair on a student's record, it assigns a repeat code to the student’s enrollment record for the repeated class. Repeat codes help ensure the impact of the repeated class on GPA and future enrollment follows university policy.
Repeat codes and descriptions can be seen on student records in the following areas:
- Unofficial and Official Transcripts
- Advisement Report
- Course History
