Newly Admitted Student Registration Information

Information for Newly Admitted Students

Undergraduate Student

You will register when you attend your Orientation session. The packet you received in the mail that included your Certification of Admission also included information about Orientation. If you would like further information, please contact Orientation. International students are also required to attend a Global Orientation program before the Orientation session. 

After your initial registration, you can use UAccess to make changes to and/or view your class schedule.

First-time students in the summer term can be considered full-time at 6 units with approval from the Office of the Registrar. To request this exception, qualifying students should first enroll in a minimum of 6 units and then complete the Summer Full-Time Enrollment Exception Request.


Graduate Student

Once admitted, please use UAccess Student to enroll in courses. If you have questions about which courses to enroll in, please contact the Program Coordinator for your individual graduate program. Program coordinators and Directors of Graduate Study are the principal advisors for graduate enrollment and are listed on each program page in the Graduate Catalog. Consult the Graduate College website for important information on policies and resources to support your success. If you need to submit documents to the Graduate College you may visit the main administrative office on the third floor of the Administration Building, 1401 E. University Blvd., or call 520-621-3471 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday - Friday, mountain standard time.


Law Student

Contact the College of Law at 520-621-7667 for information about your initial registration. After your initial registration, you can go to UAccess to make changes and view your schedule.


Medical Student

You will receive registration information in the mail from the College of Medicine.  If you have not already received these numbers and you are ready to register, please call 520-626-6518 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday mountain standard time.

 

Special Registration 

Currently enrolled students or students who left the university in good standing may earn credit toward an undergraduate degree through the use of Special Examinations.
