Registering for classes happens according to a schedule of registration dates called Enrollment Appointments — the earliest date and time you are able to officially self-enroll in classes. This date is determined by your academic program, earned credits, and any additional priority groups. Your Enrollment Appointment will be posted in your UAccess Student Center the week before registration begins. Follow this link to learn how to register for classes.
The registration dates below are for continuing students. Follow this link to get information for new students on their first enrollment.

What is Your Undergraduate Class Standing?
Undergraduate Class standing/Classification is based on the units that have been earned:
- 0- 29 units for First-Year standing
- 30-59 units for Sophomore standing
- 60-89 units for Junior standing
- 90+ units for Senior standing
A student's class standing does not necessarily correspond to the number of semesters or units required to complete all degree requirements, as some degree programs require more than 120 units. See the Academic Catalog for the minimum number of units needed for each undergraduate degree program.
