Tentative Agenda for in-person and online
8:30 – 9 AM | Breakfast in ENR2 |

The workshop will be a mix of information about the academic eligibility policy, key dates, and strategies for partnering with students as they engage in academic recovery. Just some of the takeaways will be:
- Accessing the student appeal in UAccess and recommendations from reviewers to enhance the advising appointment.
- Review of the stages of academic eligibility that a student might experience.
- How to engage with theories like growth mindset or advising approaches like appreciative advising as you partner with students.
- Opportunities to collaborate with colleagues to learn from each other.
- Identifying resources that address needs to support academic success.
- And more!
Who Should Attend
- Academic advisors and advising managers who offer guidance, support, and encouragement to students who are temporarily on review, warning, probation, or returning after academic ineligibility status.
- Campus partners who offer skills, techniques, information, and encouragement that foster success for this student population.
Goal
The goal of this workshop is engagement with the Academic Eligibility Policy to explore strategies that foster success as we build community across the campus to holistically serve and empower students.
