Post 9/11 GI Bill
The Post-9/11 GI Bill is for individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service on or after September 11, 2001, or individuals discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days. You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill. The Post-9/11 GI Bill will become effective for training on or after August 1, 2009.

Note: If your tuition and fees exceed the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition or fees, additional funds may be available for your education program without an additional charge to your entitlement through the Yellow Ribbon Program
Yellow Ribbon Program
The Post-9/11 GI Bill pays up to the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition and fees. You may have tuition and fees that exceed that amount if you are enrolled in a graduate program or attending as an out-of-state student. If you are enrolled in the Yellow Ribbon program and the tuition and fees exceed the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition or fees, additional funds may be available for your education program without an additional charge to your entitlement.
Only individuals entitled to the maximum benefit rate (based on service requirements) may receive this funding.
The Yellow Ribbon Program is on a first-come first-serve basis and is limited to 250 applicants.
