Degree Certification Procedures for Students in the James E. Rogers College of Law
Janice Marotta in the College of Law office will notify Carol W. Carpenter in Graduation Services during the final semester of your candidacy for graduation. Carol will bill the $35 candidacy fee to your Bursar account.
After grades are posted, Carol will complete a final audit of your record to ensure that all requirements have been completed for the degree. Any questions that arise are should be directed to Janice Marotta in the College of Law, Room 110B. Janice will contact you if there is any problem that would prevent the degree from being posted by Graduation Services.
Carol posts successful candidates’ degrees to their records, and a diploma is ordered if there are no pertinent Bursar’s Office hold flags. You will be notified by mail if there is a hold on your Bursar account. By the last day of class, please check StudentLink to make sure your address is current.
